October 29 01 - I'm currently developing a MusicMatch skin for Power Technology, creators of the DFX plug-in. When finalised, it will be the default skin for MusicMatch.
I'll resume application development soon hopefully, haven't programmed for quite a while. More 5 star awards for DS, FFR and QFR at FileHungry.com.

September 16 01 - It's almost been a month since the last entry. First of all I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the American people, September 11 will now be remembered as one of humanity's darkest hours and for all the wrong reasons.
Please help by sending donations to the Red Cross at this link. On the software side, QFR and FFR have been awarded 5 star awards at the File Transit.

August 20 01 - Search function relocated, the page should now look better in Netscape. Recent events updated.
Windows XP will be going gold in the next couple of days, but I won't be here to update the page, will be going away for a while,
so no further updates till then. I'll update the page again when I get back. As for the software development, that will have to be interrupted for now too,
I have new ideas for more utilities, and I'll implement them when I have the time.
|
August 15 01 - Computing section updated, I added a newbies tutorial section using Viewlets, it's pretty cool. Check it out. More tutorials coming soon!
|
August 3 01 - This site is recieving many hits due to Lockergnome, hooray! :)
I updated the software pages so you can access the download page directly without using the pull down menu.
I designed several more skins for DFX but I can't put it up till the new release is out.
I've also decided not to F2S, their servers suffer from major downtime, so till then this site's staying put.

July 27 01 - Yesterday I got this email from this punk who is one heck of a retard and works for videotron.ca.
He swore in the email saying expletives about the site, citing the reason that he couldn't find the links to my programs (This site has had visits from microsoft.com, ibm.com, phillips.com, and they had
no trouble. Yep he has the intelligence of a single cell amoeba, probably he just started evolving), then he demanded me to send me links to him after all that swearing. Yeah right as if I would.
Videotron.ca must be really sad indeed to have retards working for them, won't be surprised their technical support is thrash too with such "civilised" donkeys working for them.
On a brigher note, FFR was rated the best of the best at www.raggedclaws.com!
|
July 23 01 - Another award for QFR! Just recieved an email from lockergnome,
Quick File Rename will be featured in their upcoming newsletter! Check out the URL here for their upcoming weekly digests.
Daily digest URLs have not been issued yet, but the program will be in them also.
Lockergnome's review:
"When you need to rename a series of files, this is the app you need to be using. Browse through folders, preview changes before they're actually made, rename files according to their extensions, and update time stamps. The interface is easy to interpret, too. If you can click, you can use this program. Drag & drop functionality (from the Windows Explorer) is also supported -- as if it wasn't easy or quick enough already."
"Lockergnome only chooses the best of the best..." don't you agree with that? ;)
|
July 16 01 - This website will be moving soon to F2S.
And will be Greymatter enhanced for easier maintanence. It is partially complete so far, if you would like to see
a preview, click here, most links do not work at the moment but
try out the comments feature if you like!

July 13 01 - For this year's Friday the 13th I've revamped the messageboard, it's now
the IT forum
and hosted on a different site. HTML changes included to make this site less Netscape challenged, even though it looks a bit weird.
Summary of additions;
- IT Forum: Now with a totally new look, sign up!
- Still Netscape challenged: But it still works even though it takes forever to load. Crashes upon resizing though, hell knows why.
Some feedback would be appreciated dammit!
|
July 12 01 - Programming tutorial section added. More changes coming soon, I notice a few bugs with
(cursed!) Netscape browsers so I have to make code changes.. AGAIN!
Summary of additions;
- Programming tutorials: Currently with 1 article on enabling XP visual styles
- Still Netscape challenged: Use Internet Explorer instead!
Send me some feedback for crying out loud!
|
July 9 01 - Fast Folder Rename now available. What is it? Check it out at the software section.
Basically its the first ever folder renaming application. Happy folder renaming. Started writing it a couple of days ago, it utilises the Quick File Rename
code engine. Anyway, I updated this index page too, added a security news ticker, cool eh?
Update - Fast Folder Rename just got reviewed at Filetransit.com, it got awarded 5 stars out of 5!
Summary of additions;
- Security News Ticker: The latest security coverage online
- Fast Folder Rename: Rapid folder renaming utility by yours truly
Send me some feedback for crying out loud!

July 22 01 - Woohoo! I upgraded my computer today, replaced the old deschutes 350MHz processor with a coppermine 850MHz,
and got a 512MB RAM upgrade so now I have a total of 640MB :). My computer has to be pretty "old" compared to the majority of users, it's 3 years old, a veteran you might say. Haha.
Anyway, RAM is so cheap at the moment, if you need a RAM upgrade NOW is the time to buy. Mine cost about US$68, but that's for HALF A GIG of RAM, and believe me,
it makes a huge difference.
|
July 20 01 - Been busy! Minor update to Quick File Rename 3.0, download it at the software section. Install it over the previous build.
|
July 6 01 - Website design complete! I redesigned the logo, felt it was too complicated, hope the new design is easier to navigate. Also I removed those popup boxes, those aren't compatible with netscape and I'm really trying to make the website cross-browser compatible. Anyway..
Summary of changes;
- New logo: Nice?
- Index page updated: Changed a bit
- All sections updated: Yep all have been updated
Have a look around and tell me what you think.
|
July 1 01 - I feel sick, I think I am sick. So I'm cutting this short. You can now buy Quick File Rename Professional online, I signed up for a service at registerhouse.com. Not many changes today, told you I'm feeling sick. If you're using a browser that doesn't have english set as its preference, a box will pop up telling you that if you have difficulty understanding this page you should use the Translate feature. I changed the colour of the pointed arrow under Stats, removed SiteStatz cos it's rubbish nowadays, and replaced it with stats4all.com
Summary of changes;
- Alert Msg: For those whose language preferences are set to non English
- Quick File Rename: Buy it online for US$20 if you can't send it by mail
- SiteStatz.com: It's rubbish nowadays!
- HTML and some more changes: Too lazy to state them down
I'm going to bed!!!

June 30 01 - Added a background, changed the preload script so that it displays after all images have been loaded, previously the page won't display if the tracker website is unreachable. I also added a perl tracker. Updated the recent events, well part of it. I initally added an alert box to warn users with lower resolutions that this site is best viewed at 1024x768 but then removed it.
Summary of additions and modifications;
- Background: Out with white!
- Perl tracker: At the bottom of this page
- New preload script: Blah blah
- Stat arrows: Funky
- Screen Res Alert: To show or not to show?
And the saga continues...
|
June 29 01 - Added the information "ticker" under "What's Going On?". (previously called "Still In Development") Some changes to HTML code. More visitor stats info under the Stats menu, an OK means your viewing the website at the optimal setting, an X means otherwise. The hyperlinks are now a brighter blue so you can differentiate them easier. Main menu divided so it looks better, the translate feature is provided by Altavista.com. I have yet to update the other pages, actually I'm still deciding on the layout. I'm thinking of a floating menu. What do you think??
Summary of additions and modifications;
- Coding: Some changes
- News Ticker: Funky
- More Stats: For you
- Translate: I do not speak a Inglis!!
As usual to be continued...
|
June 28 01 - Nothing much today, been looking at tons of php and javascripts. I updated the logo. I like this one better. Everyone try out the web poll for goodness sakes, I want to see if it works, it doesn't take forever so just try it out and vote. I'll be putting up more things later on. Oh I also updated the contact page and recommend page.
Summary of additions and modifications;
- Logo: Like this one better... I think
- Contact: HTML page
- Recommend Program: HTML page
- This page: Page down to see when it was last updated exactly
As usual to be continued...
|
June 27 01 - I haven't updated much, just tinkering with html at the moment, only one page. The recent links are generic at the moment, well they don't link to news directly. Except for a few. So far I've only updated the software page but I'm intending on doing something different so I won't put it up yet, still experimenting. (So many things to do so little time!) Tinkered with the logo a bit, might make changes later on. Added quite a few scripts too, these can be found freely on the Net.
Summary of additions;
- Web Poll: from Alxnet.com
- Stats: Just some statistics
More to come tomorrow... or today. Current todos : update the rest of the pages, decide on a logo, update css style sheets, remove old pages, etc. etc. Oh this index page I have to update before I upload too... hehe.

June 26 01 - Re-design phase. If you are looking for the old sections they are on the main menu. I have also included more useful sites on the resources menu, I removed all the programming links on the old one, since hardly any of you do any programming, what the hell eh? Might put up some tutorials later on. Also check out the recent events table, if I find anything interesting I'll put it up there. Why did I re-design the old website? Boredom and tired of the same old look. I like the new look, looks cleaner, I think! And easier to navigate, hopefully, I added new pop up info boxes when you hover over a link, looks pretty cool. I also added a web poll, which you can get free from Alxnet.com.
Summary of new menus is as follows;
- Main: Access the main parts of the website
- Resources: Handy websites
Okay I am going to bed, have to update the rest of the website later today. Or whenever, have to make sure everything works.

April 10 01 - Yours Truly in the Bangkok Post!!
Woa. I was mentioned in the Bangkok Post newspaper 2 months ago! Feb 9 01. Only found out last night though through a search of my own name. The article was about Steganography. It's pretty cool, check it out here. Funnily enough I was in Bangkok at that period in time!
|
March 14 01 - Tripod
Tripod restored my page. It was their mistake.
|
March 9 01 - ARGHhhh!
Okay MAJOR news. First of all, Tripod cancelled out on me so I'm moving. No reason whatsoever, I emailed and haven't gotten a reply. They screwed up my guestbook entries dated 4 years back too. :-( Boy that sure pissed me off.
The current bookmark URLs are:

Feb 11 01 - Thanks people
Thanks to everyone who sent me feedback on Quick File Rename, very much appreciated. The Tripod link doesn't work well, so try the Geocities or ZDNet link.
Once again, thanks people!
|
Jan 20 01 - QFR Updated again and the about section links
Small bug fix. Anyone have any ideas on making my website better? More troubleshooting sections perhaps, or a good idea for a program? Need suggestions people!
|
Jan 13 01 - Quick File Rename Updated
This new version includes MP3 renaming. I just uploaded it to ZDNet. Users are able to tag mp3s automatically by extracting artist and song title information from the filename. Smart rename option makes your mp3s look better too. :-)
|
Dec 29 00 - Computing Section Updated
Added the Troubleshooting Windows Software section.
|
Dec 26 00 - Hard drive RIP
My 2.1GB hard drive died today just as I was about to do some coding. There goes my Win2k platform... thank goodness I didn't place any important files in there. Anyone care to donate an old used hard drive to me???
|
Dec 26 00 - Updated sections
Updated the Windows OS troubleshooting and hardware troubleshooting sections. Hope that helps whoever with OS and hardware troubles.
|
Dec 23 00 - Completed!
Incredibly I've finished. 4 days of crazy designing and typing of HTML code. New counter too. Anyone ever watch Now and then? Good movie... hmmm anyway, it's 2:05am now, so I think I'll upload this and go to bed.
|
Dec 22 00 - Designing Sections
Finished the computing section. Typed the main sections in, more to come later. Only two more sections to go before I go crazy and throw the computer out of the Window.
|
Dec 21 00 - Designing...
Designed the main page today. Drove me nuts. Tables tables and more tables, I had no clue whatsoever to begin with, and actually coded everything from scratch, pretty incredible eh? Self flattery there. Had to put in a lot of work but it paid off in the end. Had to stretch the header a bit as well, but it looks good now. And I am still doing editing in Notepad.
|
Dec 20 00 - New layout and design
I got inspired a few days ago, hence the new design and layout for the website. Looks better than the old one methinks. I'm using CSS a lot better now, which is pretty good cos I only learnt how to use it today. More of Notepad and less of Dreamweaver. There's still a lot to do though! So this means by the time I upload it there would be lots of things in the news section, or maybe not. I'm still brushing up my old HTML skills.
Internet Explorer doesn't render gradients properly! That sucks. It displays banding instead of a smooth gradient. Which means I have to do an alternate background instead of the gradient one I planned originally.. like the binary 1010s background?
I've completed the portfolio and programs section.
